CSF Attends Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Annual Conference

From October 29-31, Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) Southeastern States Director Bee Frederick and Central Appalachian States Coordinator John Culclasure attended the 71st Annual Conference of the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies in Louisville, KY hosted by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.

Together with staff from15 state fish and wildlife agencies, hunting and fishing conservation organizations and academic researchers, and students; CSF staff participated in a number of educational sessions and roundtable discussions. Topics included policy issues such as recruitment and retention programs, conservation funding, wild pig policy, land use planning for working forests, captive cervids, and chronic wasting disease.

CSF staff works with state legislative sportsmen’s caucuses and state and fish wildlife agencies across the country to support policies favorable to hunters, angler, trappers and recreational shooters.
