Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation to Join National Wildlife Refuge Expo on Capitol Hill

On Wednesday, October 11, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) will host a booth at the National Wildlife Refuge Expo in the Rayburn House Office Building Courtyard from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m ET. The Expo will highlight the Big 6 recreational uses of the National Wildlife Refuge: hunting, fishing, wildlife observation, photography, education, and interpretation. This event is open to the public.

There are approximately 600 National Wildlife Refuges spanning across the entire United States.  Today, there are more than 330 refuges that are open to the public for hunting, while there are more than 270 refuges that are open to angling. These refuges provide public access to public lands and waters that sportsmen and women rely on to participate in America’s time-honored traditions.
