About Us
Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation
The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2009. Throughout this time, CSF has maintained a singleness of purpose that has guided the organization to become the most respected and trusted hunting and fishing organization in the political arena.
Headquartered in Washington, DC just steps from the U.S. Capitol, CSF’s sole focus is providing access and a voice for sportsmen in the U.S. Congress, the Administration and federal land management agencies, as well as state legislatures across the country. With support from every major hunting and fishing organization and industry, CSF is the leader in promoting sportsmen’s issues with elected officials.
Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus
The Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus is one of the largest and most effective caucuses in the US Congress with nearly 300 members representing almost all 50 states. With bipartisan leadership in both the House and the Senate, the Caucus is the sportsmen's ally and first line of defense in Washington promoting and protecting the rights of hunters, trappers and anglers.
National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses
The National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC) serves as the umbrella organization for launching and working with state legislative sportsmen's caucuses in state legislatures. NASC is made up of nearly 2,000 state legislators and 38 state sportsmen caucuses throughout the nation.
Providing a communications network and interaction among state legislators, sportsmen's groups, industry and media, NASC and state sportsmen's caucuses are the core of the legislative front protecting and promoting hunting, fishing and wildlife management in state legislatures.
Together, CSF and NASC provide the ultimate protection against legislative attacks on hunting and fishing and deliver results for the advancement of sportsmen's interests in the political arena.
Governors Sportsmen's Caucus
The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation recently announced the formation of the Governors Sportsmen's Caucus, a bipartisan caucus of governors that will work to protect the interest of America's hunters and anglers, and advance sound wildlife management policy.
The GSC was launched at the National Governor's Association Annual Meeting in Biloxi, Mississippi, on July 17, 2009.
Guided by a bipartisan leadership team of governors and staffed through the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation, the GSC complements and enhances the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus and the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses.
